What is miswak?
Miswak is an oral hygiene aid with widespread use among Muslim population due to religious norms. Miswak is made from the twigs of the Salvadora persica tree, also known as Arak tree or Peelu tree. The conventional meaning of miswak is “stick” used on teeth and gums to clean them.
